THE CURRENT

muschiosauro First track: insistent motorik rhythm drenched in an ocean of synth sounds flown over by catchy yet hypnotic female vocals. And you think you have it pinpointed. But no. Second song: motorik becomes polyrhythms, while catchiness becomes a gloomy dronescape. And after that you have ambient with numinous chanting that morph into mysterious ethnic colors scorched by wailing guitars which go on to inform the epic, zoned out, heavy psych rocker that closes this fantastically mesmerizing album. Favorite track: The Current.

jasonk Wasn't as into this one when it 1st came out, but it's grown on me like like a glowing alien fungus that whispers secrets & promises as it spreads. Maybe I should see a doctor about that.

Amie Album starts out as retro prog/psych, last track ventures into earth-esque drone territory Favorite track: Great Cold of the Night.

a halo of light reflects around the perimeter round and around shine through a broken prism on the water cut off from the sun that's powered all that you've done (it echoes) the current keeps pulling along like a serpent knowingly coiled around and around the perimeter a speck of dust on the mirror's surface casts a shadow that grows with every glance like a wordless whisper in a hall of glass potentiality reflecting all that you see as we move through the dream purify my mind till I have no use for mind purify my heart till I have no use for purity
