a halo of light
reflects around
the perimeter
round and around
shine through a broken prism
on the water
cut off from the sun
that's powered all that you've done (it echoes)
the current
keeps pulling along
like a serpent knowingly coiled
around and around
the perimeter
a speck of dust
on the mirror's surface
casts a shadow
that grows with every glance
like a wordless whisper
in a hall of glass
potentiality
reflecting all that you see
as we move through the dream
purify my mind till I have no use for mind
purify my heart till I have no use for purity
Midday Veil continue perfecting their Stereolab-meet-Jane-Weaver-meet-80s-synth-music-meet-krautrock brand of psychedelia while maintaining their own unique identity. The songs are now more streamlined, structured and focused, but their otherwordly, far-reaching, cosmic nature is still absolutely intact and even enhanced by the sparse but effective use of violin, viola and trumpet in a few cuts. Superb psych rock, definitely. muschiosauro
